Rob is directing an annual community show and most of the talent  is suspect, with it appearing Laura will be the star, until the new neighbor, Anita Lebost (Sylvia) auditions, performing one of the most explosive numbers in television history...

"I worked on several of Dick Van Dyke's shows as choreographer as well as the one on which I performed, and he is solid as a rock.  Always prepared and knows his craft like no one else around. And as nice a human being as walks the planet..."

 

"This was the first time I had to record a song solo with a big band... I was in the booth with headphones on and Earle Hagen outside  with the orchestra.  I have/had a slight claustrophobia issue but thank god for Earle... he calmed me down and we did it three takes... the third one was the charm.  The number was done live, in front of audience (I sang to playback), in one take.  One reason the number worked so well was the swinging arrangement of the old Mexican folk song "Cielito Lindo' done by Earle..."
